Introducing a post by Kaichi International School of Japanese, the official account of Kaichi International Japanese Japanese School! It's a photo that looks delicious. The specialty of Mt. Takao is "Tororo soba noodles". Tororo is said to be good for recovering from fatigue because it is easy to digest and absorb and contains a lot of vitamins. There are many soba shops from the foot of Mt. Takao to the summit, and it is a popular spot for tourists. ◆Mt. Takaoyamaguchi Station, the entrance to the Takao Mountain climbing area, is lined with many restaurants. Tororo (grated yam) has long been eaten around Mt. Takao, and there are many restaurants where you can enjoy tororo cuisine. I ate grated yam on the way home from a recent excursion. Tororo has a soothing effect on a tired body. If you are tired after climbing a mountain, you should definitely try it.

From the summit of Mt. Takao in Hachioji City, you can see "Diamond Fuji" as the sun sinks into the crater of Mt. Fuji, which has been registered as a World Heritage Site, on December 17 (Sat) ~ 25 (Sun), 2022 (around the winter solstice in December every year). It is a precious and mysterious sight that can only be seen for a few days in one year, even for a few minutes. You can see Diamond Fuji depending on the weather, so please check the weather forecast before visiting. Mt. Takao can be reached in one hour from central Tokyo, and there are cable cars and lifts to the mountainside, so you can easily visit it. It is very cold in winter now, so please wear warm clothes.

[English/Japanese] Tengu-yaki, a souvenir I bought on a field trip to Mt. Takao. It is shaped like a tengu, a demon said to live in Mt. I thought the filling was red bean paste, but it was made of crushed black beans, and the elegant sweetness was very delicious. Our school is located at Nishi-Hachioji Station, next to Takao Station. It took first place in the recently announced "Really Comfortable City to Live in Ranking". Nishi-Hachioji is located along the Chuo Line, which connects to Tokyo and Shinjuku, between Hachioji, which is convenient for shopping, and Takao, which is rich in nature. It is recommended for its many supermarkets and hospitals, and inexpensive rent 😊. The souvenir "tengu yaki" that I got when I went on an excursion to Mt. Takao. [English/Japanese] Hachioji is famous for Mt. Takao. Takao can be seen from the school. The other day I went up Mt. Takao on a school excursion. The autumn leaves were still in full bloom and the view from the lift was very nice. You can also enjoy the scenery on the way to the top of the mountain, including discovering a rare cedar tree. It was a beautiful day, so we could see Mt. I recommend visiting on weekdays when there are fewer people. Speaking of Hachioji, Mt. Takao is famous. Mt. Takao can also be seen from the school. It is recommended that there are few people on weekdays.
